Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato Bagels

Ingredients

  • · 3 rashers of sliced back bacon per person
  • · 2 heads Little Gem lettuce
  • · reduced fat mayonnaise
  • · ripe tomatoes
  • · salt and pepper to season
  • · sesame or plain bagels- 1 per person
  • Cooking time: 10 Minutes
  • Preparation time: 15 Minutes
  • Serves: 4

Method

1.

Grill the bacon rashers until perfectly crisp.

2.

Split and toast the bagels lightly.

3.

Slice the tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.

4.

Rinse the lettuce leaves and dry off on paper towels.

5.

Generously spread the bottom of the bagels with the mayonnaise.

6.

Layer the lettuce, bacon and tomatoes and then close with the top half of the bagel.
